  2. Gumbel Fountain

  3. Variety of locations within the park

  4. Next to the streetcar!!

Jackson Square

Jackson Square is a big favorite of mine! I recommend this location for a lot of my couples getting engaged. It’s got the quintessential New Orleans charm and is surrounded by so many great spots to photograph. The only kicker is it requires a permit to shoot in but I’m happy to help take care of those detials! And the best part…you can get beignets at Cafe Du Monde after!!

Reasons I love Jackson Square:

  1. Full of New Orleans charm

  2. Lots of beautiful areas to photograph

  3. Surrounded by beautiful French Quarter architecture

  4. Beignets!!!

The Botanical Gardens at City Park

The Botanical Gardens are such a vibe! I recommend this location for my couples that want something a little more unique and private. There is a photo permit fee but it’s so worth it in my opinion! And the best part…you can get beignets at Cafe Du Monde after!!

Exchange Place and Pirate’s Alley in the French Quarter

These cute alleyways are so much fun to shoot in! I recommend these spots for my couples that want something a little more intimate within the quarter without losing the charm. They’re not completely private but they offer a little more seclusion than somewhere like Jackson Square.

Reasons I love the alleyways:

  1. French Quarter charm

  2. Unique and vibrant

  3. Easily walkable

  4. A little more intimate than Jackson Square

The Bywater

I may be a little biased because I live here but the Bywater is one of my favorite neighborhoods to shoot in. It’s colorful, walkable, quirky, and has no shortage of watering holes to take advantage of after your session!

Reasons I love the Bywater:

  1. Ample parking

  2. Quirky and colorful
